About Vectma
We build useful apps and keep making them better.
Vectma is a software company. We design, build and run consumer apps, and we keep improving them long after launch.
We keep the company small and focused, so every app gets the attention it needs.
Our apps
RockHoundR
Rockhounding map for iOS and Android
RockHoundR is a map for rockhounds, prospectors and fossil hunters. It brings collecting sites, land managers, mining claims and geology together in one app, and it keeps working offline.
What we believe
-
01
Few products, made properly
Most of what makes an app good is invisible: maps that load fast, words that are clear, features that still work with no signal. That takes time, so we build few apps and give each one the time it needs.
-
02
Useful first
We start from a real problem people have, not from a technology we want to try. If a feature doesn't make the app more useful, it doesn't ship.
-
03
No ads, no selling data
Our apps are paid for by subscriptions, not by attention. They don't show ads, and we don't sell personal information.
-
04
Here for the long run
An app is never finished. We keep ours updated, fix what's broken and listen to the people who use them.
